My Dog Loved the Zoo!

I recently took my lil fuzzy buddy, Piper, to a drive-through zoo and circus in Florence Kentucky. She loved it! Seeing her so happy was my favorite part of the experience. I've been to zoos before and seeing another one from a car wasn't that exciting for me but this was her first time. Everything was new and exciting. She leaned not just her head but, her entire body out the window the only part of her that was completely in the car was her tail which I was holding onto. Her fur was flapping in the wind and I know dogs can't smile like humans but I swear she had a grin on her face the whole time. Her joy and excitement were contagious.

Even though I'd been to zoos before when I saw her complete unfiltered joy I began to see the zoo through her eyes. That day we'd had the privilege of seeing exotic animals at a close distance. And that's just not something you get to do every day. That's something special!

My dog and I happened to find ourselves in the middle of a forest recently. We decided to take some photos while we wondered if we'd be able to find the path to civilization again. Spoiler: We made it back home!

Having lost its cupcake, the werewolf howled forlornly at the moon.

A little while back I played a game called, Brocken Picture Phone. It's kinda like Pictionary meets the Telephone Game. One person will come up with a phrase and then someone else will draw it and then someone tries to guess the phrase, and the process keeps going until you run out of players. The results can be pretty spectacular. There was one round in particular that captured my imagination. The phrase I ended up with was "Having lost its cupcake, the werewolf howled forlornly at the moon." It was just so randomly specific and painted such a vivid image in my head. Once the game was over I still couldn't get the image out of my head so I decided I'd draw it in its full glory.

Here's the sequence as it played out in the game.

What's the deal with women's clothing?

I think most women will agree, our clothing sizes are ridiculous! What do they even mean? An 8, or a 14, etc those numbers don't relate to any measurements on our body. Not to mention the same sizes between brands can be drastically different. It's almost like the sizes are meaningless. Meaningless and random and here's my "theory" on how those size measurements came to be.
