I went to Cove Springs again, and this time I went to the main entrance. I'd missed out on quite a few staples of Cove Springs last time when I'd blindly wandered the trails. It was cool to see all the waterfalls this time.
What grabbed my attention though, was the rocks. I went off trail for a bit and walked in the dry creek bed. The rocks had such a cool texture! I know water is powerful but, to see what it can do as evidenced by the worn-down algae-covered rocks is crazy. If the water had been flowing I never would have been able to see it. Somehow that makes it seem more special. The rocks are always there but you don't always get to see them.
I also found some cool balanced rocks and if you look below you'll see where I made my favorite model pose near them. Finding the balanced rocks was kinda odd. I was walking up a grassy trail and as I reached the top I just started to see these rocks stacked up. It was a neat lil surprise.
Never know what you're gonna see when ya start exploring. Wonder where I should go next.
