Now I'd love to say that it was an amazing park and that it's for the better I ended up there instead, but honestly, it was just okay. It had a couple of sculptures that were kinda neat but I guess that coolest part was the bridges.
There were a few bridges in that area and there was this spot under one of them that was especially cool. You could hear the cars driving over top. I've heard cars drive past plenty of times before but this time made me pause. It made me think of how my Yorkie has this one spot where she stands to bark and it echos just right so she sounds huge... I don't know how to explain it better than that. For a second I saw something ordinary in a completely new light and then it was over.
I NEEDED to get out of my house, so bad weather be damned I decided I'd go hiking. That didn't go as planned... Not only was the weather against me but the Nature Preserve I was trying to go to, Cove Spring Park, was closed. With everything being closed these days I wasn't super surprised but I was disappointed. I was bound and determined to go on an adventure today so I kept going and ended up at Kentucky River Park.
